In modern life, few people manage not to succumb to the frenzied rhythm and live like our parents and grandfathers lived – size, thoughtfully, with a big happy family. And happy is the family, which manages to preserve long-standing traditions, and get along with whole generations and at the same time not be aloof from technological innovations and wide streams of information.
In this spacious house, which is located in a place surprisingly reminiscent of the Carpathians, a large family lives. Immediately three generations gathered under the same roof – the customers themselves, their parents and children.
It was not an easy task – to create a “family estate”, where the veneration of old traditions and the spirit of continuity of generations would be preserved, but at the same time the house would remain modern and progressive.
After talking with the family, the decision came by itself – to combine eco-and ethno-style. The use of natural materials is fully consistent with the basic world trend in the field of interior design, and elements inspired by ancient Ukrainian traditions emphasize the connection between generations, which is so valued in this family. In the house you will see a minimum of glass, plastic or metal (only where it is due to technical need). For decoration, exclusively eco materials are used: natural paints and clay plasters, ceramics, wood. From fabrics, naturally, preference is given to flax, cotton, silk and wool.
